DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Supervise the electronic Foreign Exchange (FX) trading/market making team in the US that creates automated trading programs to buy and sell currencies with company's clients. Lead the development of the Latin America (LATAM) electronic trading offering in FX, as well as the development of cross-assets framework for electronic market making of Fixed Incomes, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) products. Oversee the work of the team that performs research, design, and coding up of the automated trading system. Run data mining, mathematical modelling, and computer programming. Oversee the complete training of new hires, and perform project management. Manage the delivery of yearly business targets, liaise with senior stakeholders, and hold necessary discussions with legal, compliance, and business control.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field of study plus 9 years of experience in the job offered or as E-Markets ED, E-Markets Associate, Quant Trader, Foreign Exchange (FX) Algorithmic Execution Developer, Credit Data Analytics Associate, Analyst Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as E-Markets ED, E-Markets Associate, Quant Trader, Foreign Exchange (FX) Algorithmic Execution Developer, Credit Data Analytics Associate, Analyst Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: leading a team to develop a high-performance, low-latency, 24x5 enterprise Foreign Exchange (FX) market-making system; quant modeling for market making and risk management strategies across FX deliverable, non-deliverable, and futures markets; developing cross-assets low-latency market making framework used by different asset classes in FICC including FX, Commod, Rates, STIRT, ETF, and Credit; design and implementation of cross-assets client-facing algorithmic orders; and partnering with technology and sales marketing teams to deliver products to end clients. This position requires knowledge of the New York, London, and Latin American (LATAM) foreign exchange (FX) markets.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $292,427 - $350,000 per year.
