ABOUT THE TEAM
The Corporate Functions Solutions team is responsible for developing and managing solutions that support various corporate functions groups, including Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting , Financial Planning and Analysis, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Physical security, Enterprise Risk, Procurement and more. By leveraging advanced technologies and best practices, the Corporate Functions Solutions team plays a pivotal role in driving technological strategic initiatives, enhancing operational capabilities, improving operational excellence, and enabling the potential of the business plan objectives within its domain.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Functions Solutions, the Domain Architect, Corporate Functions Solutions is responsible for defining the vision for their digital domain in alignment with the Technology, Data, and Operations group's overarching vision and guiding principles. This role involves establishing the target state architecture and formulating a strategic plan to achieve it.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Domain Architect, you will:

Be responsible for developing, articulating, and communicating the architecture vision and technological roadmap for the Corporate Functions Solutions domain while ensuring alignment between business objectives

Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, enterprise architects, and external vendors to ensure the domain architecture aligns with the business strategy, adheres to enterprise architecture principles and standards, and follows overall IT best practices

Support the delivery lead in providing guidance, oversight and direct contribution to the solution delivery teams, ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture framework and the domain architecture while continuously focusing on improving the overall delivery cycle

Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the domain architecture practice, processes, and tools

Research, assess, experiment with new and existing solutions or technologies to meet the constantly evolving business needs, considering internal capabilities and market’s innovations
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field
-
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in IT, including at least five (5) years in a solution or enterprise architecture role – or equivalent related experience
-
Experience in the financial services industry
-
Strong knowledge of the corporate functions business processes, data, applications, and technologies
-
Experience in artificial intelligence (AI) or generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) projects is an asset
-
Ability to translate business requirements into architecture solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective
-
Strong communication skills - orally, written and through presentations - with all levels of stakeholders, from technical to executive
-
Proven track record of establishing and maintaining a high level of trust and confidence with both the business leaders and the technical teams
-
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in an agile organization

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Strong and proven problem-solving skills; pragmatic approach to identifying, analyzing and solving problems to achieve target solutions while taking business inputs and implications into account

Certification in Azure, AWS or other relevant frameworks or technologies is an asset

Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
