THE POSITION:

The primary function of this position is to review all Medicaid applications for quality assurance and to submit all first submission adjustment applications to various Medicaid programs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Quality Assurance on all new enrollments/applications auditing for compliance and errors
  • Correct applications when appropriate while tracking QA results in Salesforce
  • Return non-compliant applications to be corrected
  • Prepare all adjustment requests – change in liability requests for submission to Medicaid offices
  • Submit all first submissions to the assigned Medicaid offices via e-mail, fax and/or mail
  • Send and receive faxes and e-mails
  • Address all rejected faxes, e-mails, returned mails and determine correct fax number, e-mail and or address
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • 1-3 years of office experience.
  • Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Customer service — Manage difficult client/customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments.
  • Planning/organizing — Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
  • Quality control/Attention to detail — Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Adaptability — Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Dependability — Consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
  • Able to work in team environment.

Pay Range:

$40,000 - $45,000 Per Year + Full Benefits
