What you'll do:
As the Disaster Recovery and Incident Analyst you will gather and document business requirements and/or design basic information systems that are appropriate for users’ needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Also, you will build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Solving a range of straightforward problems and analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures.
In detail, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Coordinate with various teams to conduct regular disaster recovery tests and drills.
- Analyze and manage major incidents to minimize the impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems and data are backed up and can be recovered promptly.
- Help coordinate with various stakeholders to document all incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on disaster recovery procedures and incident management.
- Monitor compliance with disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare reports on incident trends and disaster recovery readiness.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
- University Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and incident management.
- Familiar with ServiceNow modules including incident, problem, change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, data centers, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance procedures.
- Certifications in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Incident Management are a plus.
- Fluent English.
Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office. Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux’s support teams.
