We are looking for a Site Director for our Williamsport location, who will be leading all aspects of the site. You will ensure a balanced work environment for all Williamsport employees, while also protecting the people and environment of the surrounding area. You will delivery on all key operations areas including safety, environmental, quality, production, spending, and delivery to customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide appropriate mentor and performance feedback to all direct reports and assure that the same is done for all site employees
- Develop and implement appropriate strategies for all components of Williamsport production
- Work with Union to maintain a good working relationship
- Ensure continuous improvements in all areas of manufacturing in compliance with appropriate regulations while controlling spending and capital budgets
- Ensure production capacity to meet customer needs and execute plan to provide for future requirements
- Responsible for proactive community relations and Arxada’s local reputation and image
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have extensive experience in chemical manufacturing (min. 10+ years)
- Must have leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing setting (approx. 5-10 years)
- Experience with PSM processes is a huge plus
- Degree in Engineering or Chemistry required (Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent education
- Leadership: Ability to lead and empower a team, ensuring everyone works towards common goals
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, especially related to health and safety
- Project Management: Planning, executing, and coordinating projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Technical Skills: Understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety protocols
- Communication: Clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance
The expected salary range for this role is $190,000 to $233,000 USD, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
