Role: Director Of Technology
Summary:
You will oversee our technology strategy, managing the Advantage Orientation product development, leading a team of developers and advancing system efficiency to support the company’s goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Advantage Platform product roadmap, aligning development with company objectives.
- Ensure adherence to security standards.
- Mentor and develop web department team.
- Oversee IT policies and procedures including cybersecurity framework controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client IT needs effectively.
Technical Stack:
- Development Frameworks and Languages: C#, .NET (including Core), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Umbraco CMS, SQL Server.
- Tools and Systems: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, Function Point, Zendesk, QuickBooks.
- Infrastructure and Security: Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, NIST with CISA, ISO Cybersecurity Framework.
- Media Production Tools: Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and studio equipment.
- Artificial Intelligence and Language Models: Beginning stages of innovating with AI technologies, including natural language processing (NLP) tools, machine learning frameworks, and integrating advanced language models into our platforms to enhance automation and personalization.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for someone with:
- 10 years of experience in IT management
- Proven leadership in technology teams, ideally as a software engineer or developer transitioning into management.
- Expertise in managing systems administrator and development team.
- Experience with software development management
- Background experience in information/cyber security and these control frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
- A proactive approach to solving problems, driving innovation, and achieving goals.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
