Overview: As a Director, Technical Project Management at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of complex technical projects.

Ability to identify and mitigate risks; to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.

Optimize resource utilization and capacity planning.

Implement and continuously evaluate best practices, methodologies and tools for project management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business operations and product management.

Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Develop project management strategies and techniques aligned with company and department goals.

Lead and guide a team of project managers.

Amplify a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Demonstrate that you are a quick study with the ability to learn complex software systems and applications.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills – for technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization.

Requires hands-on management philosophy where you’ll be someone who’s both a doer and a leader.

Ability to effectively prioritize multiple simultaneous projects which require attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify and report risks to always deliver on deadline.

Ability to optimize everywhere around you - from operations and workflows to meetings and updates.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10+ years’ experience of project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience in a similar role at a software as a service (SaaS) company, within the Legal IT industry, or in another subscription-based business.

Proficiency in process diagramming and project management tools like Smartsheet, MS Visio and MS Project

Expert in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of understanding and utilizing project management methodologies.

Strong ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) are a plus.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $145,000 to $175,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
