Morningstar is seeking a dynamic, people oriented, humble and ever-willing-to-learn Director for Talent Acquisition. In this role, located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai, you will possess end to end ownership of talent acquisition team.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving the end-to-end recruiting activities to ensure all the business requisitions are closed as per the agreed timelines & quality of hires.
  • Create and implement robust & dynamic talent acquisition strategy for leadership, mid-career and early career hiring, aligned to the business needs and organizational priorities including a clear strategy on sourcing diverse profiles.
  • Work closely with the regional & global stakeholders to design and drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices that appropriately balance business needs and candidate experience.
  • Ensure all roles that are being offered are fairly compensated by working closely with the Compensation and Benefits team
  • Stay updated with the market trends, industry practices and emerging technologies to dynamically evolve & transform the hiring workflow.
  • Strengthen the employer brand in the regional market across social media platforms and campuses.
  • Ensure pro-active communication and necessary education on the industry landscape and compensation ranges for new teams setup / new stakeholders requiring hiring support.
  • Pro-active communication and reporting to the local and global business and P&C teams on open requisitions, red flag roles beyond agreed timelines, quality of profiles, diversity, etc.
  • Responsible for ongoing transformation of the end-to-end recruitment process and ensure robust documentation of hiring processes & policies.
  • Build a dynamic, highly engaged & fungible TA team to exceed expectations across all the key hiring metrics.


Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience in a similar role with at least 10 years in leading high performing and effective recruitment teams
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science (OD, HR Management) or MBA with appropriate experience preferred
  • Be a thoughtful leader in the hiring space with strong communication skills
  • Strong ability to plan, design and implement talent acquisition programs
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and work with leaders to get their buy-in on various talent acquisition initiatives
  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross-culturally with diverse individuals and teams.Ability to work through ambiguity and complexity to provide simple, expedient, and practical solutions
