By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, leading teams and developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee teams and individuals, monitor and guide performance in alignment with objectives, and promptly address issues, risks, and conflicts as they arise
  • Provide senior account and project-level leadership that ensures exceptional delivery quality, exceeds client expectations, nurtures client relationships, and creates expansion opportunities
  • Build discovery strategies and guide teams to build strategies and conduct evaluations of software including analyzing future state business needs and conducting market research to generate high-value assessments and recommendations on leading solutions
  • Provide oversight and executive sponsorship of client implementations, identifying and resolving issues, risks, and project team conflicts, and acting as a point of escalation when necessary
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services by taking personal ownership of client engagements, ensuring that deliverables are practical and impactful
  • Drive the strategic direction of the practice by actively monitoring industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and creating new services and solutions that meet market needs
  • Actively contribute to talent acquisition and retention efforts, participating in attracting, interviewing, and hiring top talent who embody our core values
  • Lead business development efforts and market a full range of services to prospective clients including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships and serve as a subject matter expert, aiding organizations and their stakeholders in recognizing and implementing strategies to harness modern technology

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of business application strategy, selection, or implementation experience, with an understanding of financial, operational, HR and payroll functions and applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, UKG, Sage Intacct, Coupa, NetSuite, Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Adaptive, etc.)
  • Prior experience in professional services (IT consulting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues
  • A strong track record of effectively communicating intricate concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical discipline
  • Willingness to travel based on client preferences
