Director, Strategic Program Management
The Role
Looking for your next opportunity to innovate and drive growth? National Charitable Services is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual that can use their product development and management experience to lead efforts to define and implement new philanthropic solutions!
As a member of the product development team, you will be responsible for overall program coordination and reporting of new products that are aligned to National Charitable Service’s future vision. Using a passion that combines market insights, strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, delivery, and innovation, you will oversee multiple delivery efforts simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver prioritized solutions.
The Expertise & Skills You Bring

BA/BS required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred

8+ years of experience in product and program management and/or management consulting with ability to launch, manage and enhance complex programs while demonstrating relationship management abilities across business functions including technology, service, fundraising, marketing, and legal, risk & compliance

Deep expertise in nonprofit sector trends, new technologies as well as the internal structures, tools used in operational / administrative processes related to donor engagement and management, grantmaking techniques and workflows, IRS compliance and reporting, and board governance

You have an entrepreneurial approach and with proven track record of launching and scaling new businesses

Strategic leadership and excellent collaboration to influence teams across functional areas to deliver and achieve business goals

Your intellectual curiosity and analytical orientation, high aptitude for problem solving and ability to adapt

Experience translating product vision into discrete, actionable plans including delivery of product roadmap, technical designs, go-to-market plan, and service model considerations

Ability to develop and maintain project plans, tackle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver business results

Your confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

Ability to communicate and influence (via verbal and written communications) with cross-functional teams, other stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure alignment, mitigate risks, and promote transparency

Since 1991, Fidelity Charitable has introduced tens of thousands of donors to the benefits — and increased charitable impact — of using a donor-advised fund to meet their philanthropic goals. Fidelity Charitable is governed by an independent Board of Trustees, which has hired Fidelity Investments as the service provider to the charity. Fidelity Investments, through National Charitable Services, provides all of the charitable organization’s employees and supports all of its functions: Program Development, Marketing, Service Delivery, Change Management, Relationship Management, Finance, Technology, Risk and Compliance, and Fundraising!
