PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embody and support the vision and strategic direction of BarkleyOKRP and the FUEL team
  • Key member of FUEL and Creative leadership team, making recommendations on philosophy, structure, team goals and tools, and working to future proof our department
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, media partners, vendors, channel reps and internal teams
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Comms team to develop content plans that support client objectives
  • Create insight-driven content strategies that deliver results on large scale campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for content partnerships and multi-platform media partnerships, when appropriate
  • Lead training and development to ensure partners have the necessary tools to be effective in their roles
  • Assist with defining scope and managing team’s hours and output to ensure projects are profitable and operating within scope
  • Provide creative solutions to optimize and manage content development projects
  • Develop measurement frameworks and measure performance to inform recommendations for optimization


OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Participate in new business pitches
  • Manage team dynamics and conflict resolution
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring talent that elevates our team and clients
  • Empower innovative ideas by bringing appropriate new media technologies and capabilities to the ideation conversation
  • Regularly meet with media and industry reps to develop and maintain expertise on the technologies and capabilities available in the market that our teams can leverage
  • Provide thought leadership perspectives on trends and ahead-of-the-curve approaches to building, scaling and leveraging content and digital thinking
  • Oversee the development of compelling client presentations and reports
  • Facilitate training workshops for clients and internal teams in a way that participants can understand and get excited about


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry leader with 8+ years of advertising and/or content experience 
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated success with client relationships and team management 
  • Proven experience integrating with research/strategy, creative and analytics teams
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sophisticated levels of time management and strict eye for detail
  • Fortitude to stay calm under pressure
  • Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills to manage the unknown
  • Genuine interest in emerging technology, pop culture, internet trends and staying on top of social platform updates, ad formats and paid media trends
  • Deep knowledge of all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest, YouTube, etc) and best practices
  • Proficient in social listening tools (Sprout, Sprinklr) 
  • Experience working with paid media and/or paid media teams
  • Advanced reporting skills and extensive analytical capabilities
  • Bachelors Degree in strategic communication, advertising, marketing, digital media or related field
