Here’s a quick overview of what you will be doing:

Director of SMB Sales

As the Director of SMB Sales, you will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, while managing and growing a high-performing sales team. You’ll build a scalable and repeatable SMB sales engine, leveraging your expertise in SaaS sales, CRM analytics, and relationship-driven selling to exceed revenue targets.

This is a critical role where you’ll work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align on sales strategies, refine processes, and drive business expansion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Scale: Manage and mentor a team of SMB Sales Managers and Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Own the entire sales cycle, focusing on both new business acquisition and renewal/expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Pipeline Development: Build, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong pipeline coverage.
  • Strategic Sales Execution: Formulate and implement data-driven sales strategies, leveraging sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, Value Selling).
  • CRM & Analytics: Use HubSpot and sales analytics tools to track performance, optimize funnel efficiency, and drive team productivity.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align go-to-market strategies and improve customer acquisition & retention.

Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of sales & sales leadership experience, ideally in SaaS.
  • Proven success in scaling SMB sales teams and meeting/exceeding annual revenue targets in a high-growth or scale-up environment.
  • Expertise in building and executing sales pipelines, identifying new opportunities, and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and strong data-driven sales management skills, including funnel management and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Value Selling) and the ability to train & develop sales teams effectively.
  • Strong leadership & coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high-performance teams.
