What You'll Do:
We are seeking a Director of Sales Strategy & Analytics to lead data-driven sales planning, performance analysis, and strategic insights to drive revenue growth. In this role you will be critical in optimizing our go-to-market approach, improving sales efficiency, and providing actionable insights that fuel business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales analytics, forecasting, and strategic planning within a high-growth, consumer-focused organization. This role is based in our Salt Lake City HQ.
How You Will Help Us Win:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with business goals, leveraging data analytics to drive growth and profitability
- Lead sales performance reporting, providing insights on revenue trends, product performance, customer segmentation, and market opportunities
- Drive sales forecasting, quota-setting, and pipeline management to optimize business performance in partnership with Traeger’s demand planning team
- Lead channel partner reporting/coordination via joint business planning efforts, quarterly business reviews, and semi-annual top to top meetings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to improve go-to-market strategies
- Build and manage dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into sales performance
- Identify key growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to enhance revenue and market share
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform sales strategies
- Utilize advanced analytics and data modeling to improve pricing, promotional effectiveness, and customer targeting
- Lead a team, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, sales analytics, business intelligence, or revenue operations
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving sales efficiency using data-driven strategies
- Strong expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics
- Experience working in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce industries preferred
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
