The Gimmal Sales team is looking for a strong Director of Sales Engineering to join the team. In this role, you will manage and grow a team of Sales Engineers. You and your team will work alongside the Chief Revenue Officer, Account Executives and Account Managers to deliver product demonstrations, proposal responses and expand revenue opportunities for Gimmal.
You will guide your team to build strong relationships with IT and Business leaders and perform discovery to understand business problems and strategize to develop innovative solutions -leveraging Gimmal products and our industry partners. Your team owns the technical sales process, so you will provide experience, guidance, training and insight for strategic opportunities. Training and enablement are a critical element of this role, ensuring your team is technically ready and professionally challenged. You also act as a critical liaison between Sales and Product, sharing critical feedback with the Product Management, Client Success and Engineering functions at Gimmal.

- Minimum 10 years of sales/solutions engineering experience
- Minimum 3 to 4 years managing a team of high performing sales/solutions engineers
- A track record of technical success on strategic, enterprise scale opportunities
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft technology platform and architecture
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Refined presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Office applications
- The ability to work remotely and travel up to 30%
Bonus points if you’re bringing experience in or really want to learn the following:
- Records management, information governance or eDiscovery industries.
- Experience with one or more Content Services platforms such as:
- SharePoint Online
- Box
- OpenText (Content Server or Documentum)
- IBM/FileNet
- A strong professional industry network.
