The Role Contributes to the Company Mission by:

Bridging the gap between strategy and execution across the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, the role will drive Company revenue by establishing and championing visionary operational strategies, ensuring alignment across departments, streamlining processes, harnessing insights for continuous improvement and fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making. It will also lead a team of sales development and sales operation employees to ensure their actions align with company objectives and provide opportunities for development.

Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:

  • Establishes and champions visionary revenue operations strategies, methodologies, and tools to amplify the efficacy of sales, marketing, and lead development initiatives.
  • Partner with sales leaders in driving and optimizing operational productivity metrics for the revenue organization like quota attainment, pipeline coverage, stage conversion rates.
  • Identifies inefficiencies + blind spots in tracking core sales metrics and KPIs, such as sales bookings, account profitability, opportunity analysis, sales velocity, rep productivity, and churn prevention.
  • Collaborates with finance to ensure that revenue operations strategies align with financial goals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manages the sales development team, ensuring an integrated workflow of leads from marketing campaigns to sales engagements which includes refining the lead qualification mechanism and uplifting conversion metrics.
  • Oversees and mentor Sales Development Representatives (SDR's), ensuring their professional growth, driving productivity, and guaranteeing alignment with company-wide goals.
  • Conducts performance reviews to foster effective communication, identify motivators, enhance sales skills and understand development opportunities.
  • Leads the design and refinement of the customer journey process, collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless, personalized experience at every touchpoint, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborates with business intelligence to take analysis to the next level, as well as automate reporting.
  • Evaluates, designs, and implements the processes, programs, and systems to support revenue growth.
  • Cultivates and champions a strong collaboration culture across critical departments, including Product, Finance, Legal, HR, and IT, ensuring cohesive strategies and integrated efforts.

Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”: 

  • 8+ years of a combination of education and work experience in Sales Operations.
  • 5-7 years experience in B2B with a strong background in Content Syndication (required).
  • 5-7 years management experience, plus management of direct reports in a sales environment.
  • Strong technical experience with Salesforce and other business productivity tools, such as Gradient or similar, Excel/Google Sheets (required).
  • Salesforce Certified (SFDC) highly preferred, or Salesforce Admin (required).
  • Demonstrated successful leadership skills to drive optimal business performance.
  • Experience in operations and operational disciplines such as management, marketing, program and project management.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills to use data to drive decision making and execute sales strategies.
  • Creativity to identify opportunities when others may not see them and a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to execute.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills with a proven ability to influence teams and matrix manage internal resources
  • Comfortable with high degree of interaction with senior leadership team.
  • Strong consultation skills with the ability to assess complex environments; diagnose challenges/opportunities from first principles; and to develop prioritized plans
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time and to be flexible to adapt working in a rapid growing, fast paced work environment as priorities evolve.
  • Articulates clearly where they are going, why, and how they are going to get there so employees understand how their work aligns to the vision.
  • Established coaching skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and create development action plans.
  • Recognizes the efforts and accomplishments of team members, which increases employee commitment and enhances performance.
  • Ability to provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, performance development, and performance management.
  • Ability to create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, a clear team strategy, establishing goals with deadlines, and monitoring of team performance via measurable and reportable metrics, while also encouraging creativity and risk-taking.
  • Ability to listen to team members’ and outside feedback and resolve any issues, roadblocks, or conflicts.
  • Recognize high performance and accomplishments in ways that are meaningful to the individual, but not necessarily always monetary.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills including ability to speak to all levels of the organization, present information related to departmental strategy, goals, and accomplishments, and provide information in a clear, concise written format.
  • Ability to create, monitor, and report on a budget for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Ability to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency in our compensation practices. Salary ranges and additional compensation, including bonuses and incentive pay, are determined through a comprehensive review process.

Base pay offered will be determined on a number of factors including, job-related skills, experience, relevant education, and location. Our benefit information can be provided upon request.

The US base salary pay range for this position is

$130,000$150,000 USD
