The Director of QA is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance for our Ren payment solutions portfolio, ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards, comply with regulations, and are delivered consistently with predictability. The role involves managing QA teams across the globe, developing

developing quality control strategies, increasing efficiency with automation, and collaborating across functions to drive continuous improvement in the quality process.

Key responsibilities for this role:

·        Develop a comprehensive quality plan aligned with business objectives

·        Identify inefficiencies in current QA practices and implement best practices for testing and quality assurance

·        Create and maintain comprehensive quality standards, procedures, and policies to guide product development and testing for Ren

·        Oversee the implementation of testing strategies, including both manual and automated testing

·        Hire, train, mentor and supervise a global QA team

·        Work closely with Product Delivery and Development to ensure correct interpretation of requirements and adequate coverage of test cases
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, identifying trends, and taking corrective actions where necessary

·        Identify opportunities to enhance quality processes, implement automation, and drive a culture of quality across the organization

·        Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and standards

·        Communicate the quality progress effectively with stakeholders at all levels


·        Explore/recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance quality

Requirements

·        10+ years of experience in quality assurance at a financial services technology organization

·        Strong market and technical understanding of payments and card issuing solutions

·        Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices

·        Experience managing large globally distributed QA teams and leading complex projects

·        Entrepreneurial attitude with leadership skills to leverage matrix organizations

·        Ability to work independently, with limited direction

·        Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to concisely communicate key issues/results in a manner appropriate to the audience, including the executive level

·        Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements

·        Technical expertise in software development processes and testing methodologies

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Leadership abilities to influence and motivate teams towards quality goals 


Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education

·        BS/BA qualification in a technology or business field
