ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a Director for Provider Partnerships and Business Planning at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE
This forward thinking, strategic, intuitive, self-directed business/operations leader will be integral in developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships with providers that drive sustainable growth including but not limited to integrations, independent contractor arrangements, professional services agreements, and other alignment vehicles that span Christiana Care Health System. Additionally, the Director of Provider Partnerships will develop and manage a liaison team that builds relationships with providers in their assigned markets, share opportunities for alignment, and provide data and information to systems leaders relative to potential partnerships and future planning. Reporting to the Regional Executive Director, they will also partner and collaborate with Medical Group and other Health System leaders to develop and execute clinician workforce plans to create additional provider alignment.
The ideal candidate should exhibit strong acumen in practice integration and acquisition, business planning, and network development.
This is a hybrid position with in-person and remote opportunities available!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships:

Identify opportunities for adoption of various physician alignment vehicles aimed at enhancing collaboration, improving health outcomes and optimizing cost efficiency with physicians and physician groups.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential physician partners that span the ChristianaCare Physician Enterprise.

Develops alignment models with partner groups aimed at creating synergy and delivering high value to ChristianaCare patients

Fosters collaborative relationships with physicians and physician groups by negotiating arrangements that drive value to targeted patient populations.
Business Planning & Growth:

Utilizes data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities that support medical group and system growth.

Develops proformas and practice evaluations to support decisions around integrations, acquisitions, and PSAs.

Researches and brings forth strategic opportunities based on industry trends, internal and external variables, and findings and feedback from surveys and data sources (examples: Sg2, Trilliant Health)

Provides input to the Medical Group President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Service Line Leaders on overall Medical Group strategy.

Supports and coordinates the annual strategic planning process with the Regional Executive Director and Medical Group Senior leaders as it relates to clinician workforce needs as well as periodic business case reviews and look backs
Position Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) or healthcare administration (MHA) required.

Minimum of 5 years of healthcare related experience including healthcare finances and provider partnership/integrations.

Prior management experience required.
