We are seeking a Program Director to lead and manage large-scale signage design and
implementation programs. This role will center on overseeing all phases of signage projects,
from conceptual design and site surveys through to installation and close-out. The ideal
candidate will have experience in program management, a strong design sensibility, and an
ability to lead both internal teams and vendor partners. The Program Director will work closely
with clients, fostering relationships and driving program success, while ensuring we maintain our
position as a trusted signage consulting partner.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple complex signage projects from start to finish, including project setup, site surveys, design, technical documentation, vendor coordination, and close-out
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between design intent, technical specifications, and implementation execution
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project updates, issue resolution, and future opportunities
  • Provide leadership in the development of signage systems, including guidelines and recommendations, ensuring consistency with brand standards and project goals
  • Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and staffing to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Work closely with technical designers and vendors to review prototypes, manufacturing methods, and installation processes
  • Support new business development by assisting in proposal writing and identifying opportunities for organic growth
  • Utilize SignChart® to manage all aspects of project progress, budget tracking, reporting, and client communication
  • Collaborate with the finance and operations team on project tracking and invoicing
  • Act as a mentor and coach to team members, helping them develop their skills, achieve their goals, and grow within the company
  • Continuously seek ways to improve internal processes and team dynamics, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment


REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in program management within a design, architecture, construction management, or a related industry
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the signage industry, including materials, fabrication, lighting, finishes, and installation techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in client presentations and proposal writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring quality control
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and team leadership
  • Ability to travel occasionally, with the expectation that travel will be less than 10%


Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000

  • Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience, and may vary from the amount listed above.
