We're looking for an exceptional Director Product to join our team and help drive the development of our AI products and solutions.

Job Summary:

As the first Product Manager Leader at Arcee.ai, you will lead a team of talented engineers and AI researchers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products and solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will be tasked with crystallizing Arcees position in the AI market, internal initiatives and talent, and customer feedback into AI models and software. Given the rapid rate of change in AI technology, you will need to be living and breathing on the cutting edge of AI research and development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Leadership:
• Stay up to date on key developments in AI products and research.
• Develop product theses and execute against these through initiatives and verify you work through customer adoption.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers to design and develop innovative AI solutions.
2. Team Management:
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Ensure team members have the necessary resources, tools, and support to excel in their roles.
3. Project Management:
• Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and research, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Communicate technical information and project updates to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and researchers to stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
5. Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for software development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

1. Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data science.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
3. Technical Skills:
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with AI frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as Transformers, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
4. Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and technologies.

Nice to Have:

1. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
3. Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and microservices architecture.
4. Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, and transparency principles.
