About the Role

Overview:

The Head of Product for Jackpot Party, an industry leader in the Social Casino space, is responsible for defining and delivering a product vision that prioritizes player-first solutions. This role is central to bridging creative ideas and execution, collaborating closely with the Game Strategy & Economy team to align on strategic goals while leading the Product Design & Ownership department. The Head of Product ensures a seamless connection between vision, team collaboration, and development priorities to bring engaging features to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with player needs and business objectives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with the Game Strategy & Economy team to align feature design, development priorities, and player experience strategies with long-term goals.
  • Product Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap to ensure timely delivery of impactful features and solutions.
  • Player-First Approach: Advocate for the player experience in all decision-making, ensuring features are engaging, enjoyable, and intuitive.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead the Product Design & Ownership team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and quality.
  • Development Prioritization: Balance short-term deliverables with long-term goals, ensuring the most impactful projects are prioritized for maximum value.
  • Vision to Team Connection: Serve as the primary bridge between high-level vision and team execution, ensuring clarity and alignment across all levels of development.
  • Upwards Communication: Keep senior leadership informed about product progress, priorities, and outcomes, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Feature Design Oversight: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure features are implemented to the highest standards and deliver on their intended purpose.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and evaluate the success of features, using data-driven insights to iterate and improve the product continuously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Game Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of product management experience in gaming, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful product strategies in the Social Casino or free-to-play gaming industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with expertise in using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to align stakeholders and foster collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of player behavior, retention mechanics, and monetization strategies in free-to-play games.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with game economy design and live operations.
  • Expertise in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Experience working with external partners and vendors.
