Responsibilities: 

  • Lead account and project activity related to the BarkleyOKRP public relations and influencer marketing practice, recognized as a PR expert by our clients and team members  
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of an account, including managing team members, client expectations, budgets, deadlines and deliverables 
  • Build and deliver campaigns and tactical plans with strategic objectives, evaluation measures and thoughtful budget recommendations, proving ability to create thoughtful, successful media and influencer relationships 
  • Clearly articulate complex ideas or technical concepts to enable broad understanding and make informed judgements about PR and influencer tactics, counseling internal team members and clients on the value of the tactics 
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively; accurately assessing workload to appropriately prioritize campaigns for multiple clients 
  • Prepare effective presentations, including appropriate use of visuals, and responds professionally to client and colleague communication 
  • Manage onsite execution of activations, elevating relationships with media, influencers, vendors and clients 
  • Supports agency and practice new business and organic growth  
  • Demonstrates ability to mentor and seeks opportunities to teach and cultivate growth and knowledge of team members 
  • Can delegate and use resources effectively with guidance from integrated account leads 
  • Produces strong results and ROI for clients, laddering up to business goals and objectives 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations, specifically in influencer and public relations 
  • Strong experience with influencer partnerships; managing high-profile influencer programs and planning event activations for various food & beverage, retail, travel and lifestyle brands. 
  • Experience in developing strategic communications and public relations plans to secure national, trade and local media coverage 
  • Hands on experience working within influencer, reporting and presentation platforms such as Sprout Social, Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a proven ability to draft proposals, contracts, reports and presentations  
  • Ability to drive measurable results and demonstrate impactful influencer campaigns  
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders in various locations across the United States  
  • Prefer experience in corporate communications, internal communications, issues and crisis management, media training, executive visibility
