Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead the creation, enhancement, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee the design and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all HR functions
  • Spearhead learning and development initiatives to foster employee growth and organizational capability
  • Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on people-related matters
  • Manage NYC office management staff and operations

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Expertise in total rewards strategy and administration
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives to business objectives
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or greater required


Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $180,000 - 1$90,000 . Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
