The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through effective advertising solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the advertising industry, exceptional sales skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
·New Business Acquisition:
- Collaborate with our 3rd party Rep, Warner Bros Discovery, in the development and execution of a robust new business strategy, focused on generating revenue across linear, digital, and branded content advertising solutions.
- Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities with digital platforms, production companies and any potential revenue generating prospects.
Partner Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential partners’ organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new business endeavors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations from the outset.
Sales Strategy & Market Penetration:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, including emerging platforms and untapped verticals.
- Work closely with our 3rd party representatives (Warner Bros. Discovery), marketing and product teams to position our advertising offerings in the market effectively and communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative branded content opportunities that provide measurable results for clients.
Negotiations:
- Lead complex negotiations with prospective clients to close high-value deals, ensuring terms and agreements align with both client goals and business objectives.
- Draft and present proposals, contracts, and other key documents, ensuring that all agreements meet both client and company standards.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and manage sales pipeline with 3rd party Representatives, Warner Bros Discovery ensuring accurate reporting of activities, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership, offering insights into the sales process, key wins, challenges, and progress against business development goals.
- Utilize data and analytics to refine sales tactics and improve conversion rates for new business acquisition.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital advertising ecosystems, including current trends, technology, and strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to building new business and driving sales growth.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client experience.
- Motivated by achieving goals and demonstrating a passion for winning new business.
- Culturally aware and politically astute.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English. Also good with basic Spanish
- Extensive travel to the Territory (25%-30%). Able to travel some days monthly, based on business need.
