Position Overview:

The Director of Network Marketing will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that drive growth through network marketing & social selling channels. The ideal candidate will have experience with business development, strategic partnerships, and a proven track record within the social selling & peer-to-peer selling space. This role will require a blend of analytical skills, corporate-side expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset to identify, cultivate, and optimize partnerships, ultimately contributing to the organization’s revenue and customer acquisition goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and scale a comprehensive business development strategy for direct sales & affiliate marketing channels, aligning with company goals and growth targets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners within a similar industry, assessing their alignment with company values, target demographics, and growth objectives.
  • Develop and nurture high-value relationships with key partners, acting as the primary point of contact to foster trust, accountability, and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, potential areas for growth, and competitive landscape, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for these initiatives, closely monitoring outcomes to optimize performance, improve ROI, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align initiatives, leverage resources, and ensure successful execution of campaigns and partner programs.
  • Lead training efforts for internal teams and partners to ensure alignment, understanding, and effective use of tools, resources, and processes.

You will likely have:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in social sales, direct selling, network marketing, social marketing, or other specific roles.
  • Deep understanding of referral marketing strategies, compensation structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development within relationship-marketing or similar high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and translate into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You may have:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or with subscription-based business models
  • Background in leading large teams or managing multiple high-stakes partner relationships
  • Familiarity with CRM and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau) for tracking performance and insights
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics that complement strategies, including social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within the supplement, nutrition, or similar industries.
  • Proven success in a startup or high-growth environment with a strong adaptability to evolving business needs
  • Active network within the community marketing industry or related markets, with established connections to potential partners
