The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

This position of Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, Global Supply Chain will support the Vice President, Global Strategy, Project Management Office and Continuous Improvement in supply chain-specific workstreams related to Merger & Acquisitions. As the Director, Mergers and Acquisitions for Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Partner with Corporate Strategy, functions (legal, finance, HR), businesses and consulting M&A experts to advance M&A planning and execution for Solventum

Leverage external M&A expertise to guide and make “best practice” recommendations to supply chain leadership

Lead the supply chain integration strategy and road map for successful integration both short-term and long-term 

Establish critical supply chain workstreams and ensure resources are allocated appropriately to meet established deliverables and timelines within the broader deal timeline

Monitor and report on supply chain integration progress, including establishing KPIs and identification and escalation of roadblocks and issues

Drive strong connectivity and communication within and across project teams as well as with key leadership stakeholders for alignment and decision making

Ensure effective communication and change management strategies are in place in strong partnership with supply chain communications and human resources

Lead M&A due diligence activities for supply chain

Ensure timely review of relevant documents populated in data room and gaps are identified and escalated

Coordinate supply chain diligence calls and related preparation, including agendas

Create an M&A playbook specific to supply chain, outlining approach for various types of M&A transactions

Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiencies post-integration in partnership with supply chain leadership

Develop and refine supply chain integration best practices

  • Continuously evaluate and refine supply chain integration processes and methodologies

  • Share lessons learned and best practices across the supply chain organization

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in post-merger integration within supply chain

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher AND Ten (10) years of combined experience in Supply Chain, M&A, and/or M&A Advisory in a private, public, government or military environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Experience in supply chain AND mergers and acquisitions that includes leading an organization through integration of supply chain functions such as planning, manufacturing, engineering and distribution centers 

  • Extensive experience in managing supply chain due diligence during M&A transactions

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proven track record of driving performance and effectiveness

  • Ability to “think outside the box” and embrace continuous change

  • Medtech experience is plus

  • Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and address risks, issues, and roadblocks

  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to inspire and lead teams, including managing and developing talent

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
