Overview
Electric is seeking a Director of Marketing to drive customer acquisition, revenue expansion, and retention. This role will be 25% general marketing housekeeping (brand, website) and 75% demand generation for Direct Sales from a mix of channels, content, SEO/SEM, and partnerships. Reporting to the CEO, this role will focus on executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth and revenue for Electric.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a strong operator possessing revenue marketing or demand generation experience at a SaaS business, with a bias to execution and delivering quantifiable results. SMB segment experience is preferred and appreciated if you know our buyers and how they think. You must be detail-oriented, data-driven, highly focused on execution and delivery, and possess strong leadership skills, creativity, and drive.
What you'll do
- Be responsible for driving leads to direct sales to close more revenue and hit sales targets
- You will work cross-functionally to support our partner GTM, direct acquisition, and sales strategy driving channel-specific customer acquisition activities that result in revenue.
- Help define and execute the partner channel marketing strategy to grow Electric’s customer base and delight our partners.
- Own a multi-channel demand generation strategy across inbound and outbound channels.
- Manage third-party vendors for SEO, Lead Generation, Marketing Ops, Web Design, and Brand to execute at scale a multitude of projects
- Working with rev ops, product, sales, and other stakeholders to drive cross-functional integrated marketing projects and initiatives in support of Electric’s customer growth objectives
- Manage team execution against key objectives to boost brand awareness, increase market share, and drive marketing-qualified leads and customers
Who you are
- 6+ years of growth marketing experience in a B2B SMB software, and/or SaaS environment
- Has specifically built a demand generation engine that scaled rapidly, selling a product between $10-25K
- Experience working at early-stage companies (< $10M, wearing many hats, and comfortable with growth and change
- Proven ability to execute campaigns and programs that create robust customer pipelines
- Strong multi-channel marketing execution experience
- Experience managing and hiring high-performance marketing teams
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and revenue organizations
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities at once and follow through to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting maintain strong working relationships within a remote team
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment

Where?
We are headquartered in NYC, with an office in Denton, TX and remote locations across 24 states. Our largest markets outside of the Tri-State area and Dallas-Fort Worth area are San Diego, Denver, Raleigh. We embrace a hybrid culture and offer opportunities throughout the year for folks to get together in regional markets or at HQ. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
