We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Managed Services Sales to lead business development, strategic account management, and revenue growth initiatives within regulated industries, particularly financial services and healthcare. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and driving consultative selling efforts that align with evolving regulatory and security challenges in the managed services space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managed services, technology, AI, privacy, and security, leveraging these insights to position our managed service offerings as strategic solutions for enterprise clients.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Sales Leadership & Business Development: Drive revenue growth by developing and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities within financial services, healthcare, and other regulated industries.
  • Strategic Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders to ensure long-term client retention and expansion.
  • Consultative Selling: Lead complex sales cycles by identifying client pain points, crafting tailored solutions, and delivering compelling value propositions.
  • AI, Privacy & Security Expertise: Leverage knowledge of AI governance, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity to address client concerns and differentiate managed service offerings.
  • RFP & Proposal Management: Lead and coordinate responses to RFPs, pricing proposals, and contract negotiations to secure high-value deals.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research to identify trends, emerging challenges, and opportunities that inform sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work cross-functionally with service delivery, marketing, and product teams while mentoring junior sales professionals on best practices in managed services selling.
  • Understanding customer’s business needs and how our solution offerings align to provide business value. 
  • A high-level knowledge of SS&C’s entire solution suite and key competitors. 
  • Support development and execution of strategic sales plans by utilizing direct marketing strategies, account penetration, sales process management and marketing support materials. 
  • Effectively utilizing SS&C’s team of product and industry experts to advance the sales effort. 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on managed services, IT solutions, or consulting.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, negotiating complex contracts, and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Deep industry experience in financial services, healthcare, and other regulated sectors, with an understanding of compliance requirements and industry-specific challenges.
  • Expertise in AI, privacy, and security, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to develop and execute market expansion initiatives.
  • Executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
