Are you ready to lead the launch of cutting-edge transportation and supply chain optimization solutions poised to disrupt the industry? We are seeking a Director - Go To Market Strategy to spearhead the introduction and market adoption of new integrated supply chain & transportation optimization solutions. This role is critical to the success of our go-to-market strategy, and we’re looking for a visionary leader who can drive North America product commercialization, ensuring seamless market penetration and customer satisfaction.

As the Director - Go To Market Strategy, you will own the end-to-end launch strategy and execution for the North American market. This is a highly visible leadership role, interfacing with cross-functional teams—including Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Solution Delivery, and Technology Partners—to ensure successful product deployment and market adoption. You will lead a diverse, North America team to align product capabilities with market needs, deliver a seamless user experience, and drive significant business impact.

What your new challenge will look like

  • Lead Product Commercialization:

    • Lead development of the commercialization strategy and implementation, covering the complete range from e.g. definition of ideal customer profile and target segments, Go-to-Market planning with marketing measures and sales activities, sales process resulting in closing deals/winning customers.

    • Drive the commercialization process from product concept to market success, ensuring all aspects of product readiness, including technical, marketing, sales, and customer support requirements.

    • Ramp-up of revenue-organization, interfacing with relevant stakeholders (marketing, product management, delivery), and lead the organization in North America. Generate the first success stories, fill the pipe and win the first clients.

    • Define and implement best practices for successfully launching new products into the NA market.

    • Anticipate risks to the launch timeline or market acceptance and implement proactive solutions to keep the product launch on track. Lead efforts to mitigate any challenges that could delay the product launch or affect its market performance.

    • Develop a roadmap for the product’s lifecycle beyond the initial launch. Define and execute strategies for continued market penetration, post-launch improvements, and customer support.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

    • Partner with Marketing and Sales to create compelling value propositions, sales collateral, and demand generation strategies.

    • Engage with industry thought leaders, analysts, and key customers to build market credibility and drive adoption.

    • Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure the platform meets market needs and is ready for commercial release.

    • Partner with Legal and other required stakeholders to create SaaS contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA).

    • Drive operational efficiencies throughout the launch process, working closely with internal teams to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation.

  • Market Analysis & Customer Engagement:

    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive positioning, and industry trends.

    • Develop pricing and incentive model to be utilized by sales team.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, driving early adoption and customer feedback for continuous product improvement and innovation.

    • Attending professional conferences and trade shows to solicit market feedback and champion the product launch. 

  • North America Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of marketing, product marketers, sales and solution architects to achieve commercialization goals.

    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across geographically dispersed teams. Willingness and desire to get involved in supporting and leading internal initiatives outside of daily routine tasks.

  • Performance Metrics & KPIs:

    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product launch success, including market adoption, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and scalability.

    • Ensure adherence to product launch timelines, market fit, and seamless integration into customers' IT landscapes.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in product commercialization or product management roles within the supply chain software industry with emphasis on transportation and logistics.

  • Proven track record of leading successfully launching and scaling enterprise-level software solutions in the US.

  • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, with a focus on aligning product development, marketing, sales, and customer support.

  • Strong technical background and understanding of supply chain optimization, transportation management, and network design. Expertise in product management, technical development and delivery of software applications and positioning them for market success.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with Fortune 500 customers, translating complex business requirements into innovative, scalable solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment.

  • Experience in leading product launches for SaaS or cloud-based supply chain solutions, preferred but not required.

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
