The Global Lead of HR Systems and Data is a strategic leadership position responsible for defining, implementing, and managing global HR systems and Data initiatives across the global organization. This role aims to enhance employee experience, ensure accurate HR data, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a virtual and global framework.
HR technology strategy & roadmap
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Global Enterprise HR Technology strategy and road map aligned with the Kyowa Kirin 2030 strategy
- Drive HR’s digital transformation and the overall optimization of our Enterprise HR Technology Ecosystem in alignment with our multi-year HR Technology strategy and roadmap
- Partner closely with other HR clouds & Group functions as well as ICT & Digital Functions to assess needs, define options, develop and deliver solutions that improve processes and ensure a consistent and seamless end-to-end employee experience
Enterprise HR technology implementation & supplier management
- Lead and/or oversee implementation of Enterprise HR Technology solutions through all phases including requirements development, design, implementation, testing, change management, and ongoing business process reviews for feedback and improvements, ensuring seamless end-to-end integration and positive user experience across Kyowa Kirin
- Manage relationships with technology implementation suppliers during project preparation, implementations and project closing, ensuring optimal performance, project cost & time management and alignment with project outcome requirements and deliverables
- Provide cross-functional input on integrating HR Technology into the larger Kyowa Kirin digital architecture or solutioning business challenges with support of HR Technology/Data in collab with ICT & Digital Functions
HR technology adoption, governance & support strategy
- Drive global user adoption initiatives for enterprise HR technology solutions, providing training and support in collaboration with HR Operations and ICT & Digital
- Ensure that the systems are scalable, sustainable, and have an impact on the long- and short-term HR evolution
- Establish and roll-out governance frameworks to ensure data compliance, data quality and data security on a global scale
- Develop strategies for ongoing support, continuous improvement, and the optimization of the employee experience in collab with ICT & Digital
HR Technology driven global HR processes
- Own the specification for implementation of global HR technology that enables activities across the entire talent lifecycle in collaboration with HR Operations and ICT & Digital
- Oversee Enterprise HR technology configurations executed by ICT & Digital Team for efficient and effective management of global HR processes
HR reporting & analytics
- Define global HR Reporting & Analytics Strategy in close collaboration with the HR function and business
- Oversee the development and delivery of global HR reports, analytics & insights
- Support the OKK HR organization in usage and interpretation of people data and insight to make informed strategic decisions and optimize HR operations worldwide
- Partner with HR leaders and other stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Identify key data trends and present relevant implications and recommendations to the HR team and other stakeholders
Global HR master data & privacy governance
- Establish global data governance to increase transparency, quality and accuracy of data & implement, maintain and oversee global HR master data standards
- Globally ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish robust governance practices on an international scale
- Oversee, guide & support integration of new entities into our HR master data system
Global HR budget management
- Prepare, guide and support the HR organization during the Global HR budgeting process (as part of the overall Kyowa Kirin budgeting period) in close collaboration with the Global Finance Function
- Plan and manage capital investment and operational expenses for Enterprise HR Technology implementations
Other
- Represent HR Function in cross-organizational meetings & projects and responsible for supporting, enforcing, and integrating HR Systems expertise, standards and support across the organization
- Partner closely with ICT & Digital Function and Global Finance to drive/contribute to joint projects impacting the management and optimization of the global Personnel Cost and Headcount Planning
- Direct Leadership responsibility for Global HR Systems & Data Analytics Team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field is required
- Proven experience in managing global HR technology projects and implementations
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR digital transformation, technology adoption and user engagement on a global scale
- Very good knowledge of HR business processes, data management, with the ability to translate HR and business needs into technology solutions
- Strong understanding of global HR reporting, analytics, and data privacy governance
- Excellent analytical and financial/budget management skills with a global perspective
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to enhance the employee experience and support Kyowa Kirin and HR initiatives and efficiency & effectiveness
- Able to build strong relationships internally & externally, user-centric & a growth mindset
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Profound expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other HR systems
- Fluent in English, Japanese is a preferred
- Up to 40% global travel is required
