Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Director of FP&A to join our growing Finance team in Sunday Riley`s Headquarters. Your main areas of focus will be:

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support manufacturing operations, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze production costs, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze historical financial data and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas of improvement.

BUDGETING and FORECASTING:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare regular financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure budgets align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Identify and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities.

MANUFACTURING COST ANALYSIS:

  • Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
  • Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted manufacturing costs.
  • Develop strategies to improve cost efficiencies and profitability.

FINANCIAL REPORTING:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations from budget/forecast.

STRATEGIC PLANNING:

  • Work closely with senior management to support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights to evaluate potential investments, projects, and business opportunities.
  • Assist in evaluating the financial impact of strategic decisions.
  • Provide financial insights to optimize product pricing strategies.

TEAM LEADERSHIP:

  • Create, supervise, and mentor a team of financial analysts or associates.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Required Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in manufacturing and/or health and beauty industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards and principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software.
  • NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
