We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, where you will lead and enhance our financial accounting and reporting processes. Your expertise will drive compliance, innovation, and accuracy, contributing significantly to our strategic goals. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of all financial reports, including drafting and preparing SEC filings and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage stock-based compensation and assist in accounting for equity awards and maintaining equity schedules for financial statements.
  • Manage technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
  • Cooperate with internal departments to address complicated accounting problems such as revenue recognition, equity award valuation, leases, and impairment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and financial reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, advising on necessary adjustments.
  • Recognize areas for enhancement in financial compliance and develop effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and financial planning.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about regulatory modifications and share potential effects on the company.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting processes and systems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years public accounting, 2-3 years SEC reporting for public company.
  • Experience with Workiva a plus.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and technical accounting reports.
  • Proficiency in Netsuite a plus.
