Title and Summary

Director, Financial Planning & Analysis Automation

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of FP&A Automation to lead our financial planning and analysis automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, technology, and process improvement, with a proven track record of implementing automation solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis.
Role:
Lead the development and implementation of automation solutions for financial planning and analysis processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Design and implement automated reporting and forecasting tools to enhance decision-making capabilities.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all automated processes and reports.
Provide training and support to FP&A team members on the use of automation tools and technologies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automation solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in FP&A automation and technology.
All about you:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis
Strong knowledge of financial systems, automation tools, and technologies.
Proven experience in implementing automation solutions in a finance environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
Knowledge of programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
