Vestmark is looking for a Director of Enterprise Information Technology to provide technical, network, desktop support, and enterprise applications to the company. The role will report to the Chief Technology Officer as a senior IT leader driving the information technology roadmap, and enterprise application delivery.  This role will help manage overall IT Planning as well as leading the team in IT service delivery.

In addition, you will serve as a partner to the Cyber Security team, supporting all aspects of risks associated with information and technology to address threats and ensure company compliance with data security and privacy regulations, establishing and monitoring IT policies to minimize risk.

You will build partnerships across the company, prioritize and organize resources to drive agility and create efficient IT operations. You will manage IT vendor relationships and optimize our technology investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and prioritizes the workload of IT and enterprise applications team
  • Define service-level agreements (SLA) with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for overseeing all IT operations, budget, procurement, inventory management, enterprise applications, projects, network infrastructure, service desk and ongoing operations.
  • Enhance and own technical onboarding process for new hires, contractors and consultants
  • Partner with Cybersecurity team to implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics or needs
  • Maintain policies and systems supporting department strategies
  • Oversee the purchase of cost-effective equipment and software that meets the needs of a fast-paced organization
  • Identify areas of need for upgrades or remediation in company infrastructure
  • Act as the highest level of escalation for information technology needs across the organization
  • Oversees security of endpoints, systems, networks, and organizational data
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
  • Collaborate with the compliance team and engineering teams
  • Provides project management and leadership to staff and external resources in support of established goals and objectives, improved efficiencies, and problem resolution
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing desktop application and infrastructure while maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Responds to the needs of a 24/7 operation, as needed.
  • Participates in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts.
  • Maintain the IT Disaster Recovery Plan including annual reviews.
  • Oversee the regular testing of the plan and update for major changes in hardware, applications, business and regulatory requirements accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or relevant experience required
  • Minimum 10+ years managing IT operations and enterprise applications for a technology related organization 
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership responsibility managing teams, influencing senior level management by exercising a high degree of latitude, autonomy, and accountability in directing the activities of teams on technology
  • Technical skills: Cisco, AWS, VPN, WAN, SSO, Mimecast, Slack, Okta, MDM, Endpoint Security, Zero Trust, Salesforce, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket), IT Asset Management and Inventory Control
  • A passion for developing, coaching and mentoring a team
  • Experience with SOC and SOC 2 and other compliance processes
  • Administration of Windows, Mac and Linux desktop environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
  • Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology
  • Strong, hands-on, troubleshooting skills and working knowledge as it relates to IT infrastructure (Endpoints, switching, routing, firewalls, software, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure)
  • Change management
  • Demonstrated management skills, e.g., budget development and administration, policy development and implementation, personnel administration, staff training and development.
