As Director of Enterprise Customer Success, you will lead and develop teams across the APJ region, ensuring a strong customer experience and addressing potential issues. You'll collaborate with various functions and drive engagement strategies, requiring a strategic mindset and leadership experience in Customer Success.

As a Director, Enterprise Customer Success, you will hire and develop multiple teams, coaching first line managers and individual contributors to success. You'll be expected to seamlessly shift between high-level strategy and detailed execution in an effort to create alignment, trust and buy-in overtime. This role ultimately impacts our customer experience and retention at scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of managers distributed across the APJ region
  • Leverage data and feedback from your team to maintain an intimate understanding of potential customer experience issues and renewal risks so they can be acted on as early as possible
  • Work closely with your management team and Enterprise CSMs to ensure the effective application of our proactive customer engagement playbooks, adapting to local market requirements as needed
  • Help drive effective collaboration among the cross functional leadership group in APJ, namely Sales, Sales Engineering and Technical Post Sales Services
  • Help communicate local market challenges to global leaders with recommendations for how they should be addressed


Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in leading Customer Success teams as a second line leader
  • Experience working in SaaS, ideally with time in cloud infrastructure, observability or developer tooling

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
