The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of DevOps to lead our DevOps practices, drive automation, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps technologies, cloud platforms, and CI/CD methodologies, coupled with leadership experience in guiding high-performing teams.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Leadership:

  • Define and execute the DevOps strategy, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, and Product, to streamline development and deployment processes.

Infrastructure & Automation:

  • Architect, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.

Cloud Management:

  • Design and manage multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Implement cloud-native practices for deployment, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Security & Compliance:

  • Enforce best practices for DevSecOps, ensuring secure application and infrastructure pipelines.
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2).

Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively improve reliability.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize applications for better scalability and resilience.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in managing Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Skills:

  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Expertise in monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (e.g., ELK Stack).
  • Knowledge of networking, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA)
  • AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
