Role Description
We are seeking our first Director of Behavior Support Services. The successful candidate will be person-centered in their approach. They will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field (Behavioral Science, Special Education, Social Work) with at least 3 years management experience and 5 years' experience working with people with IDD. A master's degree is preferred but is not required. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience working with people with challenging behavior and dual diagnoses. A basic understanding of mental health challenges is a critical component to this position.
This position provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to lead program development, creating this program from the ground up, including developing relationships with funders and potential customers.
The role involves overseeing program management, providing technical support, managing budgets, and delivering exceptional customer service. While primarily located in Northfield, MN, the role offers flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications
• Program Management and Technical Support skills
• Analytical Skills and Budgeting experience
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of behavior support services and interventions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
