We are looking for an exceptional Director, Accounting to help Anduril prepare for a future potential IPO, support an ERP implementation, integrate acquired businesses, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage Anduril’s global month end close, including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local accounting requirements and internal policies.
- Manage Anduril’s global operational accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and travel & expense.
- Develop effective working relationships and liaise with other functional areas including technical accounting, financial reporting, revenue, tax, treasury, government accounting, manufacturing finance, supply chain, and FP&A.
- Own and drive coordination of the monthly global month end close process across multiple teams including optimizing to a fast and efficient close that can withstand the hypergrowth of the business.
- Support M&A by owning and driving the integration of acquired business’ accounting functions and managing the review of acquired business’ closing balance sheets.
- Provide team leadership through managing talent including motivating, coaching, training and mentoring team members.
- Assist with Anduril’s possible preparation for a future IPO and ERP implementation.
- Support the external audit process with PwC.
- Develop, manage and own executive level goals each year including close optimization, acquisition integration timelines, etc.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with prior experience as a Director of Accounting, Assistant Controller, or Controller.
- Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting M&A accounting and integrations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization.
- Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing.
- CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA.
- Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change will also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting.
- US Persons Status is required.
US Salary Range
$168,000—$252,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
