Job Description:

At Regions, the Marketing Digital Strategist creates and manages digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition with measurable results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gathers, synthesizes, and applies digital and traditional media insights to form strategies
  • Leads strategy development and delivery of digital and traditional marketing to various audiences across multiple channels; channels include content, display, search, social media, print, Out of Home, terrestrial and digital audio, and linear and digital video
  • Communicates media strategies to business partners and stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure integration and support for programs and initiatives
  • Ensures alignment of digital media and messaging across all channels
  • Develops success metrics, and tracks performance against goals and budget
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Develops test-and-learn strategies as appropriate to test new opportunities or to evaluate value of programs
  • Ensures paid media strategies are executed within strict conformance with risk, security, and other applicable standards and support the development of new standards for evolving channels
  • Provides guidance to junior strategists on occasion

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in consumer advertising strategies, preferably in digital acquisition or traditional paid media

Preferences

  • Experience executing out of home, print, radio, and television campaigns
  • Experience in the oversight and management of media campaigns across several channels
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing including display, email, mobile, native, retargeting, search, social and video
  • Experience in paid media acquisition/growth campaigns
  • Be a thought leader who can share trends and behaviors on digital media to optimize existing platforms as well as properties that are not currently used or that are underutilized

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information internally and externally teams
  • Ability to learn additional systems as needed
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
  • Ability to work under moderate guidance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Additional Job Description

  • Preference for experience in paid media acquisition/growth campaigns

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$71,751.90 USD

Median:

$89,640.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
