Job Description/Role Summary:

The role of Marketing Specialist at Invoice Home Inc.’s Austin office includes experienced marketing, communications, human resources, graphic design, and public relations professionals. Marketing Specialists, report directly to the CEO, and assist the wider marketing team in a range of marketing activities. Marketing Specialists develop and manage marketing campaigns and strategies, and produce content for the company’s website and social media accounts.

Outside of the marketing realm, but just as important, Marketing Specialists may offer support in other aspects of the company and participate in customer service. They concisely report user-related app and web issues on our internal issue tracker for our development team to resolve. They also contribute to the overall success of the company by finding ways to enhance and promote the Invoice Home brand and service with the ultimate goal of always pushing the company forward.

We are prioritizing applicants interested in PPC and SEO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for additional engagement for Invoice Home app/brands and future products/services.
  • Contribute to, develop, and oversee marketing campaigns and strategies for various channels (Invoice Home website/blog, email marketing, special media, PPC, SEO, PR, etc..) and platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc…)
  • Help produce engaging content for various channels/platforms including blogs, PPC ads, promotional emails, social feeds, press releases, and podcast/radio/video ads
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research, along with the use of analytical tools to review digital marketing analytics and produce/analyze reports.
  • Stay up to date with what’s going on across teams internally, while externally keeping a pulse on what Invoice Home’s global users care about and ways to enhance the website and app.
  • Provide customer support on a weekly basis along with a weekend/Holiday every now and again, reporting in a timely manner any customer- related app issues or new ideas to the development team on the company’s internal project management tool.
  • Collaborate with the development team by performing routine platform testing, and clearly reporting issues on our internal use tracker.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve administrative requests or issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, management or related degree.
  • Self starter who enjoys working independently with little direction and as well as a part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects Experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Google Suite with analytical abilities.
  • Prior customer service experience (a big plus) and the ability to handle stressful situations while keeping a friendly and professional tone.
  • Curious minds who aren't afraid of learning new things and like to problem solve.
  • Strong critical thinking skills: individuals who are confident and honest enough to say, “I don’t know, BUT I’ll find out”
