We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to drive our online marketing efforts in the Japanese market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization (SEO), search engine advertising (SEA), and social media marketing. They will be responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, website traffic, and lead generation from the Japan market. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to optimize website content and structure for SEO in the Japanese market 
  • Manage and continuously optimize SEA campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Yahoo! Advertising to drive quality traffic and leads 
  • Create engaging social media content and manage paid social media advertising on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LINE to reach and convert the target Japanese audience 
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in Japanese digital marketing and make strategic recommendations to the team 
  • Collaborate with the content, web development, and creative teams to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy 
  • Manage external vendors and agencies supporting the Japan digital marketing efforts 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in the Japanese market 
  • Proven track record of successful SEO, SEA, and social media marketing campaigns targeting the Japan audience. 
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills 
  • In-depth knowledge of Japanese consumer behavior, search engine algorithms, and social media platforms 
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese languages 
  • Strong project management and communication skills 
  • Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
