Job Description

As the Digital Marketing Manager for the EMEA region, your primary responsibility will be implementing strategic campaigns across Paid Digital Channels and Email Marketing, aimed at enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and fostering profitable growth within the Cricut ecosystem across the EMEA markets.

You'll play a pivotal role in helping to develop and optimize region-specific strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to refine tactics, and adapting approaches to resonate with the unique cultural nuances and preferences across the EMEA markets. Your role as the Digital Marketing Manager of EMEA is centered on hands-on implementation, adapting strategies to cater to regional difference, and consistently optimizing day-to-day operations to drive sustained growth within this specific market landscape.

Key Responsibilities: 

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Support the development of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Orchestrate and implement the Digital Marketing strategy across the funnel in EMEA. Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in digital marketing efforts.

Campaign Strategy and Planning: 

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive multi-channel campaign plan and calendar for EMEA encompassing all paid digital channels, email marketing and eCommerce promotions to enable cross functional visibility and planning.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify content needs for new campaigns and to improve existing campaigns. Orchestrate the creation of new content and ensure it aligns with the overall marketing strategy and target audience.
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies across digital advertising mix to improve conversion rates (creative, copy, etc.) to optimize campaign results. Help build guidelines for paid digital content to ensure that content is optimized for the channel and funnel stage.

Agency Management: 

  • Manage the operational aspects of agency relationships in EMEA, guiding the execution of strategy and plans across all campaigns in Paid Digital Channels and Email Marketing ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance metrics, conducting regular reviews, and manage continuous optimizations to maximize campaign effectiveness within the EMEA markets.
  • Provide agencies with direction and feedback to drive improvements of Digital Marketing operations in EMEA.
  • Leverage and direct agency expertise to deliver innovative tests and share recommendations and best practices based on results

Budget Management: 

  • Participate in annual budget forecasting and building of paid media plans to support marketing and sales plans.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget for EMEA markets effectively, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Allocate resources to different campaigns and initiatives based on performance and business priorities.
  • Responsible for the tracking and monitoring of the EMEA digital spend to ensure delivery of agreed plan.
  • Vendor management, invoicing and PO creation

Campaign Execution: 

  • Orchestrate the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and deliver profitable growth across EMEA.
  • Lead the planning and scheduling of email campaigns to support machine acquisition, DTC promotions, and key engagement initiatives.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery and launch of all Digital Marketing activities in EMEA and ensuring campaign budgets and costs are managed to plan.

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Assist in the creation and continued maintenance of dashboards and reports to track KPIs and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Analyze data to derive actionable insights and make strategic recommendations.
  • Report and present results paid media and email performance for EMEA to cross functional partners regularly
  • International need for GA4

Stay Current with Industry Trends: 

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
  • Ensure full compliance with email and digital marketing regulations and industry best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align email marketing with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Consult legal & other stakeholders to ensure full compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.
  • Work closely with finance, accounting and legal for the management of agencies and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Engagement and Martech, to ensure that the CRM system is being used effectively for International markets and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Acting as Digital ambassador supporting non digital teams to understand digital marketing and leverage digital insights to drive efficiencies in sales and marketing.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years proven experience managing Performance Marketing for a brand and/or in agency
  • Demonstrable experience executing Performance Marketing and email campaigns with a ecommerce brand 
  • A digital native with strong creative, commercial and analytical skills
  • You are quantitative and analytical with a passion for using data to answer questions and enable decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in establishing and managing process
  • A focus on customer journeys and loops in growth marketing, not just linear funnels
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in online marketing tools and platforms, as well as data analysis tools - GA4 and Datalooker preferred
  • Show great attention to detail and be results-driven
