Job Description

  

We are looking to add a Digital Engineer to our team based in Mountain View, CA.  This is an ideal position for someone passionate about embedded systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·        Embedded firmware and software development for new and existing products using FPGAs and microcontrollers

·        Generating hardware schematics and directing PCB layout

·        Leading design discussions, technical reviews, and project planning

·        Generating technical product documentation and test plans

Preferred Skills/Experience:

·        Firmware development in Verilog using FPGAs from Xilinx, Intel, or Microchip

·        Knowledge of SPI, I2C, RS-232, and Ethernet protocols

·        Software development in C using 8051, PIC, or ARM microcontrollers

·        Comfortable with hardware debugging

·        Experience with real-time systems and code/design optimization

·        Familiarity with Labview and Altium

·        Usage of basic test equipment for analysis and debugging digital circuits: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and function generators

Requirements:

·        Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

·        0-3 years’ experience in FPGA development

·        Experience with FPGA timing closure

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Highly organized individual with keen attention to detail

·        Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

  

Salary Range:

$72,600.00-$96,800.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
