The Opportunity - Digital Engagement and Marketing Excellence Lead, GEM & Levant

This position works out of UAE office in the Established Pharmaceutical division.

As Digital Engagement and Marketing Excellence Lead, you'll-

·         Lead Digital transformation plans in GEM & Levant Cluster, including planning, designing methodology, frameworks, and tools to empower separate digital channels operation for all core brands.

·         Lead, review, and audit execution of integrated digital communication initiatives, delivering ROI and competitive advantage and differentiation in line with our business and customer engagement strategies to support EPD portfolio short and long-term strategy.

·         Engage, train, and support internal stakeholders to promote the required evolution of the Abbott customer interaction model including hands-on training on digital solutions & processes for key stakeholders

·         Work with the senior leadership team in GEM & Levant Cluster, and collaborate with METAP regional and global team to design required digital transformation and digital change management programs to be cascaded down across the organization.

·         Collaborate with the marketing team and cross functionally to set & follow up on Marketing Excellence.

What You'll Do:

Cluster Digital Engagement & Marketing Excellence Lead Responsibilities:

  • Planning Phase: Work with the team in setting the digital transformation plan per affiliate, work directly with business (marketing/sales) to define the integrated multichannel plan, unique customer view and the strategic channel/ solutions that support it.

  • Digital Customer Engagement: Lead the development and implementation of customer engagement marketing initiatives including but not limited to digital marketing, websites, micro-sites, e-detailing, customer portals, webcasts, and contact centers, manages corporate multi-channel activities investments within allocated budgets and strives for coherency, investment efficiency, and cross-portfolio synergies, Ensure tracking per all E activities and continuous feedback loop as well as updates.

  • Digital Projects Execution and Digital Campaign Management: Support local team in driving planned digital execution projects to ensure goal attainments including required websites and portals, digital applications, and social media activation.

  • Digital Innovation and New Digital Business Models Execution: Build and explore digital business models and innovative solutions across beyond-the-pill services, telehealth, and e-commerce activation with the affiliates including building the required protocols with compliance, legal, public affairs, and government affairs and other cross-functional teams.

  • Digital Excellence and Measurement: Set activities KPIs, reporting mechanism, ROI calculation, and success determinants and collaborate with internal resources and external services to develop the required dashboards for monitoring, and reporting measurements periodically.

  • Internal Talents Development: Engage, train and support internal stakeholders to promote the required evolution of Abbott’s customer interaction model including hands-on training on digital solutions & processes for key stakeholders.

  • Marketing Excellence: Collaborate with the marketing team and cross functionally to set & follow up on: Brand IQ & branding guidelines (as a champion), the monthly marketing dashboard, Track of marketing budget spending vs plan, Key marketing cross-functional projects, Brand planning process, HCP & customer profiling, including Targeting & Segmentation (behavioral & digital), Building & updating customer journeys, Internal communication of the marketing department (Internal PR)

Sample and EPD Promotional & Scientific Material Management

  • Comply with GEM & Levant Sample Management Tracking and Reconciliation SOP & EPD Promotional and Scientific Material Development and Approval-GEM & Levant work instruction.

Required Qualifications

·         A basic university degree, preferred in pharmacy, veterinary or medical sciences

·         Qualification in digital & MCE.

·         MBA in marketing is an advantage.

·         Digital & MCE marketing experience is an advantage.

·         5+ years of digital marketing experience, including executing content marketing plans to include best practices in social media, SEO, dynamic/video content, and editorial planning.

·         Multichannel marketing experience, including digital marketing, online promotion (SEO/SEM/display), lead generation, web, mobile, social, relationship marketing, call center, non-personal promotion, and field promotion channels.

·         Multimedia /multichannel agency and vendor management experience.
