Job Description:

Dimensional is a global investment firm changing the way people feel about investing. For more than 40 years, we’ve translated science-based insights into real-world investment solutions for our clients.

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented digital design professional with outstanding design, verbal and visual communication skills. Dimensional Digital Designers will generate ideas, concepts, and designs and present them to team members and multiple stakeholders. As part of our design team, you'll help create cross-channel experiences that deepen the relationship our customers have with the Dimensional brand.

Responsibilities:

• Harmonize Dimensional brand principles and our visual design language into high-quality digital expressions that are functionally clear, emotionally engaging and exceed status quo.

• Collaborate with marketing, brand, strategy, and editorial teams to align and execute design initiatives from start to finish.

• Work with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and with the highest level of quality.

• Utilize modern design and prototyping tools to design intuitive user flows and refined aesthetic experiences.

• Blend functional user needs (usability, accessibility, UI, navigation) with emotional experience goals (look/feel, tone, purpose, narrative) to create and elevate brand equity with our customers.

• Leverage interaction design principles (UX/UI) and visual communication design disciplines (graphic design, storytelling, typography, visual language) to craft high-quality digital design expressions.

• Deliver high-fidelity designs, mockups, and prototypes.

• Bring energy and enthusiasm, sparking creativity with new sources of inspiration.

• Communicate design recommendations and articulate concepts to multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in designing for the digital medium with a strong understanding of user experience, web design best practices, and the technical capabilities and limitations of the modern web.

• Strong portfolio that demonstrates problem-solving skills, effective user-centered solutions, and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Extensive experience with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.

• Demonstrated experience working with web standards, responsive frameworks, typography, grids, visual layout, data visualization, and digital design systems.

• Prior experience collaborating with content experts, writers and graphic designers to create digital artifacts that visually convey key messaging.

• Ability to represent your work to product managers, peers, and other business groups.

• Ability to read/write/troubleshoot basic HTML and CSS.

• Experience evaluating and writing product requirements.

• Exposure to front-end development and content management systems (experience with Sitecore CMS is a plus)

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Relevant Years of Experience:

Minimum four years of professional design experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house, creative environment
