Our partner’s Network Cloud solution uniquely supports the complete virtualization of network and compute resources, enabling communication service providers and cloud providers to meet increasing service demands much more efficiently than with today’s monolithic routers.

Their software runs over standard white-box hardware and can easily scale network capacity by adding additional white boxes into physical network clusters. This unique disaggregated network model enables the physical infrastructure to operate as a shared resource that supports multiple networks and services. This unique network design also allows faster service innovation at the network edge, supporting multiple service payloads, including latency-sensitive ones, over a single physical network edge.

Responsibilities

• Fully own the QA testing activities as part of a scrum team, in an Agile environment.
• Write test plans, schedule and conduct TP reviews, report/verify issues.
• Join PI planning meetings and help on defining the QA activity within the scrum team.
• Join the daily meetings and highlight any possible issues/blockers that may lead to interruptions.
• Collaborate with the other engineers/TLs/GLs (DevTest/Dev) to find the best solutions fast and with minimum delays.
• Work closely with R&D, Product, and Architecture to define, develop and test the Network features.
• Meet the company targets by sticking to the plans and timelines.
• Support delivery of features in high quality.
• Write automated tests in a python environment.
• Triage the failures found during the automation regressions runs.

Requirements

Must Have:

• QA experience: testing practices, QA lifecycle, methodologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in networking QA testing (L2, L3, Management protocols).
• Strong knowledge/experience with Linux environment and distributed systems/products.
• Scripting capabilities in Bash/Python.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Team player, delivery driven, and quality driven.
• Multitasking and autodidact, delving into new areas fast.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with a variety of network equipment vendors (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Experience working with advanced network protocols (ISP related: BGP (UC, LU) | IS-IS | OSPF, OSPF-TE | RSVP | LDP | VPN and MVPN).
• Hands-on experience working with Dockers.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools / Python.
• Familiarity with: traffic generators (e.g. Ixia, Spirent); version control software such as Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and product life cycle.
