We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. If you are a sharp engineer with demonstrable experience, then we want to hear from you. Joining RII not only provides unique challenges and opportunities, it also directly and positively impacts many of our Defense and Homeland Security end users. As a part of the DSO team you will be responsible for maintaining the Build environment, the project equipment/lab, and our installation software.


This position requires a current US Secret security clearance. 


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide subject matter expertise on infrastructure components, to include assistance with maintenance, configuration
  • Support the development environment/VM of cutting-edge military and national defense related applications on various DEVOPS and cloud / big data environments
  • Maintain the build environment and CI/CD pipeline in CREATE/cDSO .
  • Work with development teams to develop and maintain AXS installers.
  • Maintain all lab equipment (virtual and physical) and support on-site activities, as needed.
  • Assisting with cyber “hardening” of software to ensure the delivered software is secure and meets required cyber security standards

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • Obtained a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent work experience with demonstrable capabilities and results
  • Experience with the Agile or Scrum development methodology
  • Experience working as part of a software development team
  • Experience using modern software build tools, including Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • 5+ years experience with Windows, Linux, Virtual Machines, and Containers.
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, Nexus)
  • Experience with developing and maintaining a java/powershell installer.
  • Experience with scripting languages, in particular python experience
  • Experience with AWS deployments
  • Experience in a deploying systems and software distributed environment
  • Experience with micro-services and micro-services architectures

EVEN BETTER

  • Candidates possess at least one or more of the following skills:
  • CompTIA Sec+ and Server+ certification
  • Experience creating secure systems and CI/CD pipelines.
