We are seeking an experienced DevOps Practice leader to manage and guide our DevOps teams across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Direction: Define and drive the DevOps strategy to align with company goals (especially for Data/AI solutions).
- Lead the Team: Mentor and coach engineers; run performance reviews and champion individual growth plans.
- Stay Hands-On: Step in as Tech Lead or SA on client projects to ensure best practices and maintain up-to-date skills.
- Ensure Quality Delivery: Establish standards, review project outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with other leads (Data, AI, etc.) for integrated solutions and company-wide initiatives.
- Thought Leadership: Share knowledge internally via workshops and training.
Requirements:
- DevOps & Cloud: Expert in AWS (primary), plus working knowledge of GCP/Azure. Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Proven track record of guiding engineers, resolving roadblocks, and nurturing a high-performance team.
- Effective Communication: Comfortable interacting with engineers and executives, translating technical details into clear action plans.
- Hands-On Experience: Willingness to jump into projects as a Tech Lead or Solutions Architect when needed.
