Senior DevOps Platform Engineer (Czechia)

As the only company focused 100% on Java, Azul is building the Java platform for the modern cloud enterprise.

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our distributed team of YAML enjoyers on a mission to introduce best practices from the DevOps and SRE fields to all Azul products.

We are fully responsible for our product building and distribution pipelines (shipping more than 1000 binaries to our customers worldwide with each release) as well as our SaaS products (cloud based solution built and maintained using „everything as a code“ approach).

Devops engineer plays a key role in success of Azul products by boosting the productivity of our engineering teams and promoting best practices during software delivery lifecycle. The engineer often communicates with all company product teams, supports and automates every aspect of the product shipping pipelines.

What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)

• Developing and maintaining company CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
• Supporting engineering teams and promoting best practices for SDLC
• Automating and optimizing engineering processes
• Providing support and tooling for release and operations teams
• Providing cloud expertise and maintaining company cloud environments

• Have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
