What are we looking for?
An experienced DevOps engineer with solid cloud infrastructure management experience. You are passionate about technology, committed to Agile principle and engineering best practices, and excited about tackling challenges. While bringing our solutions to the clients, you will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues to maintain high availability and performance, collaborate with developers to optimise workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding DevOps function serving our clients across the globe.
This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform
- Deploy, scale, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including custom resource management and Helm charts
- Build and maintain our CI/CD pipeline
- Continuously build and enhance our APM to ensure we have first class observability
- Ensure our infrastructure complies with security best practices by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- At least 5 years of experience and a track record of working in any cloud environment (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Experience working with IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) tools, open-source technologies
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps, Agile principle, CI/CD flow
- Working knowledge of microservice architecture
- Proficient in any scripting language (e.g.: Bash, Python)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience in a globally distributed startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
- Authorization to work in Malaysia is required. Working in the KL office 3 days a week
