We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support developers by creating robust pipelines and preparing infrastructure environments that enable them to focus on building high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing infrastructure in AWS while leveraging tools like Azure DevOps to create seamless CI/CD workflows. Your role is key in ensuring that infrastructure is ready and effective for developers to do their best work.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage infrastructure in AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for developers using Azure DevOps.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Ensure infrastructure environments are consistently ready to support development and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify needs and deliver infrastructure solutions that enhance productivity.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage resources efficiently.
Hard Skills - Must have:
- Previous experience in DevOps roles.
- Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Proven experience setting up and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of core infrastructure concepts: networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web services.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker.
Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:
- Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Understanding of additional cloud platforms or certifications in AWS or Azure.
Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and developers.
